
Whitney Berdy brings her fresh,
innovative and professional attitude to the world of event planning
and design. Soon after her own wedding, Whitney created Churchill
Celebrations out of her love for weddings and celebrations,
and out of her desire to make the process easier for other brides.
Her unique ability to mix creativity and organization ensures
each event will be a success.
After graduating with honors
from the College of the Holy Cross, Whitney began her work in
fashion management. During her seven years in the industry,
Whitney developed her appreciation for ascetics and design,
as well as her managerial skills. Whitney’s ability to
assist clients in making the best decisions for them led to
many return clients over the years. The transition to event
planning proved to be a logical one, since the same skills are
equally important in the success of an event. Her impeccable
eye and ability to communicate effectively continue to be her
greatest assets.
Whitney is able to work and
network with some of the best vendors in Newport on a more personal
level due to the fact that she lives in town. She can offer
suggestions for locations and venues unknown to many out-of-state
planners, providing her clients with a uniquely Newport experience.
Her involvement and understanding of the community combines
